Chalmers St @ Spectrum
The word must be spreading - Spectrum is heaving tonight. It's shoulder-to-shoulder, wall-to-wall madness in here as everyone is craning to get a better look at Sydney's Chalmers Street. They bring to the table a clean and wholesome brand of pop-rock and serve it up with dirty bass and flame-licked guitar riffs. This is the kind of show that nearly everyone should be able to appreciate (thrash-metal fans excluded); there's a distinct level of innocence and intimacy in the performance, a buzz of excitement radiating from a band who have found their feet… and an audience. The group is fronted by a slightly shy but totally cute songstress with a beautiful and powerful voice that lifts the room and shakes the cobwebs out of it. When combined with her guitarist's voice, the harmonies have a Killing Heidi quality to them and it's not surprising that the crowd cries for an encore at the end. What is surprising is that they get to play one… the mob speaks and Jager listens! Drew Clarke, Jager Uprising
Not a bad review - but then they are always nice!
